Feb. 17/06 Diamond reports 26% sales increase for 2005 Diamond Aircraft delivered 26% more aircraft in 2005 than the previous year, according to General Aviation Manufacturing Association (GAMA) statistics. Contributing to Diamond’s increased sales were the introduction of the DA42 TwinStar, increased production of the DA40 Diamond Star and strong export sales. With a versatile and modern fleet, including two and four seat singles, as well as their new twin, Diamond expects continued growth, especially as rising fuel costs continue to highlight Diamond's industry leading fuel efficiency. With the continued production ramp up, 2006 promises to be even stronger than 2005. For information on Diamond Aircraft call For more information on GAMA, see www.gama.aero. |
