 Jul. 24/04 Diamond delivers Garmin G1000 equipped Diamond Stars July promises to be a record month for Diamond Aircraft, with 29 aircraft delivered in the first three weeks of the month. Only days after certification of the Garmin G1000 installation for the DA40 Diamond Star, the first aircraft were being delivered from Diamond's new Customer Delivery Center in London, Ontario. Diamond Aircraft and Empire Aviation of London, Ontario, have teamed up to provide all customers with specialized Garmin G1000 ground and flight instruction. The training is being conducted by Empire Aviation, in accordance with an FAA approved DA40 specific G1000 FITS compliant training syllabus. "The feedback we are getting from our customers is that they are extremely impressed with the Garmin G1000 and its integration into the DA40 Diamond Star," said Peter Maurer of Diamond Aircraft. "The G1000, our new Premium Interior and the versatile 4-way Baggage Compartment combine to make this a very attractive personal airplane at a great price."
