G1000-DA40 Diamond Star Receives Transport Canada Approval

Diamond Aircraft’s DA40-180 Diamond Star equipped with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit has received Transport Canada approval.

FAA certified in June 2004, the configuration is in demand with U.S. private customers and flight training institutions, including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Middle Tennessee State University, Airline Transport Professionals, and Utah Valley State College. Deliveries to Canadian customers will begin immediately.

The Garmin G1000 provides critical flight information including location, navigation, communication, attitude, speed, engine performance, fuel management, traffic, weather and terrain on two large-format high-resolution screens.
