CAE Global Academy chooses Diamond CAE has selected Diamond Aircraft as its provider of choice for flight training airplanes and Diamond-specific flight training devices to support the deployment of the CAE Global Academy. Diamond AOPA Expo News
Diamond would like to thank guests who participated in DiamondFest, our annual Diamond owner event, as well as guests who visited our exhibits at the recent AOPA Expo. Our complete North American line-up was on display - the DA20, DA40 CS, DA40 XLS, and DA42 L360 aircraft, along with DA50 and D-JET mockups. Visitors also had an opportunity to "fly" the D-JET Simulator flight training device prototype. Other AOPA Expo news:
• New Lycoming-powered DA42 L360 unveiled at AOPA Expo Diamond flew the prototype of the new Lycoming-powered DA42 twin engine aircraft from the company's facility in London, Ontario, to AOPA Expo in San Jose. Key advantages of the DA42 L360 include: Garmin G1000; available flight into known icing certification; counter-rotating engine mounting; a re-contoured canopy for increased headroom and more.
